to me, songwriting is a sonic journal of sorts. it helps me to process, feel, and express.
through music, i practice patience, vulnerability, communication (specifically listening), improvisation, honesty, and love. songwriting is a vessel for these things, as well as a way to develop and grow as an artist and a human.
